My Yeti co-presenter Richard had never ridden a motorcycle before, so after a 10-minute lesson when we arrived in India’s northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh, I responsibly took him off over some of the most challenging roads in the Himalayas.

There were indeed three crashes on the first day, but apart from that it was all plain sailing…What an absolute trooper!
