I was just about to start looking for the nomads when, popping into YacDonald’s for a quick bite, everything suddenly changed as I was handed a hot new lead.

There ensued a multi-day off-road adventure across stunning Upper Mustang in pursuit of a peripatetic bulldozer crew….

And a couple of days later....we still hadn’t found the bulldozer guys who’d seen a yeti.

Though, on the plus side, we had seen plenty of awesome scenery and beautiful villages, as well as drunk several barrel-loads of butter tea.

But then I decided to set up a free Mustang Uber service, and karma rewarded me with the jackpot.
